It's surprising to some of our customers that so many of our previous generation products are still in use today, and still available to buy.
At Tecton, we don't make products obsolete just to force our customers to buy a new one.
Many of our customers have highly effective systems built around our previous products, but also need to make changes and/or additions. Rather than scrapping a perfectly good system, we enable those customers to get the very best value for money by keeping their systems running, and adding on, or amending as necessary.
Below, is a list of products that we continue to supply and support, which, whilst not the latest generation, still have a very useful function to perform.
DARLEX: Introduced in 2002, the Darlex 20 channel DVR has been in continuous production for 14 years, and is still in daily use in thousands of installations. The product has, of course, evolved during that period, and it's long production run is testament to it's robustness and reliability.
Please call us for further information, availability or pricing on the Darlex range of video recorders.
WIDE VIEW: The Wide View-Max is a highly cost-effective way to build a video wall, for customers with analogue cameras, on a limited budget. The Wideview will display up to 12 cameras, in real-time, on a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor, via HDMI. The video below shows how the Wide View screen layout automatically adapts layout as cameras are added and then removed. WIDE VIEW-MAX PDF
HUMBUG: An inline ground loop transformer used to suppress interference in analogue video signals. HUMBUG PDF
VDA: A 17 channel VDA, with 5 individual outputs per input. VDA PDF
RS232 VIDEO SWITCHER: A 17 x 4 analogue video matrix switch, controlled by simple RS232 commands, or Tecton Darlex keyboard. 232 Switcher PDF
RS232 ADDER BOX: A 1:4 RS232 distribution unit that enables multiple RS232 controlled devices to be connected. RS232 Adder Box PDF

Tecton has a long established record of supplying the UK rail networks, so it's perhaps no surprise that the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is one of the many rail projects that is protected by Tecton designed and manufactured equipment.
We're proud to provide our products to some of the most recognisable names in the UK.
“Having used Tecton equipment within the control room since the beginning we knew about the reliability and the fact that the products are built to last.”Neil Harvey, Operations & Compliance Officer CCTV, Nottingham City Council
